View From The Front Porch-Stan Hitchcock-September 24, 2012

A beautiful Tennessee morning, 43 degrees at the old Farm House when I got up at 5AM, but the sun came up at 6 and started warming things up pretty quick. I was on the front porch, sleepily watching the sun come up.......ummmm...my first decision of the day, after my shower and Wrangler Jean wrapping, as I stepped outside and had to choose my mode of transportation....hmmmm, old pickup or old horse, decisions decisions decisions, they crop up everywhere. Let's see now, the old 57 will get me there quicker, but the horses don't burn gas, therefore I am putting less carbon into the atmosphere and not contributing to Global Warming, although horses do eat grass and pass natural gas at a great rate, so you have to consider that.....at which point Al Gore went by in one of his huge SUV's, driving to the airport to board his private jet to take him to his next speaking engagements on this very subject....suddenly, I snapped awake and realized I had been dreaming...at least I think it was a dream, oh well, time to get around I reckon and see what I can stir up at the office...hmmm, wonder whether I should drive or ride...oh, yeah, that was just a dream.   -Stan
