About as pretty a day in December as I've ever seen. Chuck Lowrance
and I went to Lake Tellico, at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains, in
East Tennessee. Put my bass boat in the water and went out with the temperature of 67 degrees, beautiful fluffy clouds
and lots of sun. Good fellowship and God's great Outdoors with a
Bologna and Cheese sandwich, white bread and mayonnaise...put together
right on the boat fresh from the convenience store, spring water iced
down in the boat cooler, fresh bag of tater chips....friends, if it gets
any better than that I ain't never found it. If the Government Food
Police had caught us eating like that we would have been in a heap of
trouble.
