On January 28th, the WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour will reach an amazing
milestone, it's 700th broadcast!
The show is now broadcasting from it's new home at the Lyric Theatre in
downtown Lexington. It airs on 509 radio stations worldwide, American Forces
Radio Network in 173 nations and every military base and US Naval ship around
the globe, coast-to-coast on Public TV stations, and the BlueHighways TV
Network nationwide!
The show will celebrate its 700th broadcast milestone with a uniquely selected major artist, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
The new location has a history of performers from Ray Charles to Ella Fitzgerald, and now many more artists are sure to be added to that list.
The broadcast will be Monday January 28. The audience must be seated by 6:45. Tickets are $20 for the public, $10 for WoodSongs Partners and available from the Lyric Theatre box office (Tues-Thurs 1-5PM) at 859-280-2218 (Additional $1.50 service charge per ticket for phone orders), online at lexingtonlyric.com (Additional $3 service charge per ticket for online orders) or by calling the WoodSongs Reservation Hotline 859-252-8888. There is a separate post-show party that involves and additional ticket.
