The night birds have started their symphony, with the Mockingbird still
staying up to sing the lead part, as the Mourning Doves sing bass.
Relaxing on the back deck watching the sunset, just as we do every night at this time.
Been on the water since about 7:30 this morning, first to Scottsville,
Kentucky to fish Trammel Creek for some smallmouth, found a beautiful
flow of water, but no fish this morning. We came back and got the Bass
Boat and headed for Old Hickory Lake, on the Cumberland, Greg and I got
into the Bass (Greg caught more than I did) and enjoyed it all
afternoon. Just a beautiful day of enjoying the great outdoors. I
should sleep very well tonight, after a day in the sun.
I am
very thankful to live in an area of such natural beauty. Any direction
you want to head you can find a good fishing hole.
Tomorrow
is another day of opportunity, y'all. Get you some rest, Thank God for
your blessings, and we'll hit'er hard tomorrow. Stan
