Weekly Recipe: Lace Cookies
Ingredients:
1/4 c. butter; melted
1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. flour
1 c. pecans pieces
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions:
Melt butter and pour it over a mixture of the rolled oats. Add remaining ingredients
and mix together.
Place heavy duty aluminum foil on a cookie sheet, do not grease shiny side up. Drop 1 teaspoon of dough about 3" apart. They will spread a lot.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. When brown take out and let cool on foil.
When cool they will peel right off.
*Try out different toppings like drizzled chocolate or caramel!*
