View From The Front Porch- July 15, 2012
Denise made this incredible Zucchini Squash Casserole right out of the garden yesterday and it is simply the best I ever tasted. It is called Zucchini Custard Bake and I'll ask her to put the recipe on here soon. I just get so excited when the garden starts coming in...man it is so good to eat your own stuff and you know how it has been raised...not like some of the produce that comes out of Mexico and South America. -Stan

Another great use of fresh garden produce....homemade Bruchetta...tomatoes, chopped green onion, olives, mashed clove of garlic, fresh basil, mareinated in Red Wine Vinegar,
wide cut piece of Tomato Bread rubbed with a clove of garlic and toasted in the oven pretty crisp, topped with ground Parmesan Cheese. Good stuff.
