Raybon Racing Up A Variety of Charts With Numerous Tracks From Two Current Albums
This past weekend The International Country Gospel Music Association held their 56th Annual Convention and Gold Cross Awards Show in West Plains, Missouri. At the show it was announced that Marty Raybon won the 2012 ICGMA Bluegrass Artist of the Year Award. He was up against an impressive list of nominees including: Doyle Lawson, State of Grace, Eddie Gordon, and The Roys.
His current bluegrass single "Dirt Road Heartache" from his album titled Southern Roots & Branches (Yesterday & Today) is the #1 song on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Monthly Airplay Chart for August 2012.
Marty is featured on an episode of Behind the Dream on BlueHighways TV. He is also on Rural Rhythm Records Christmas the Mountain Way show with Audie Blaylock, Steve Gulley, Cumberland River and more airing later this year on BHTV. You can also see him on Bluegrass Comes to the Valley, a TV special that is part of Reno's Old Time Music Festival airing on RFD-TV next month.
