View From The Front Porch-August 17, 2012

My whole life, since I was 12 years old, has been spent playing rhythm and singing with a steel guitar picker of one sort or another. It's just what I feel with my music...a steel sets the mood and gives me the voice to interpret my music. I have been so blessed to play with the great steel players of all times, Hal Rugg, Buddy Emmons, Curly Chalker, Pete Drake, Bobbe Seymour and the great Ron Elliott. Far as I'm concerned, "If It don't have steel, it ain't country". This was a recent Heart to Heart shoot with Ron Elliott, and it will be airing soon on BlueHighways TV.      -Stan
