View From The Front Porch- August 28, 2012

Cliff and Donna Timmons, from Pleasant Hope, Missouri came by our BlueHighways TV offices in Hendersonville, Tennessee yesterday to visit with Denise and I.  Cliff and Donna were celebrating their 

wedding anniversary and came to Nashville to do it. They are Salt of the Earth people and we enjoyed having lunch together. I had a captive audience to play them some of the footage I have been working on to put together my new show on BlueHighways TV, the "Stan Hitchcock Show". It is a show where I go into my archives and share special moments of life and music that I have experienced in the last 53 years of television and song. I have been so blessed to be able to spend time with friends, over a couple of guitars, or be on stage with my band of Ozark friends behind me, or fishing with some of my hero's in a Canada lake or off the coast of Honduras, or listening to one of the greats tell a story and then sing about it. Life, as I know it, with country music and old fashioned gospel music playing the sound track. Cliff and Donna are on the way back to Missouri and we wish them a safe journey.
