View From the Front Porch- August 3, 2012

 This is a work of art that Denise created. Campground food "Special". This is a fresh slab of Salmon, grilled on our camping grill, skin down, while brushing it with a special butter mix, until done just right. Meanwhile creating a mix of fresh black cherries, onions, red wine vinegar and other spices, serving it on a bed of Quinoa and sugar snap peas. Meanwhile, my sister bro, Vickie, was cooking up some fresh cut up squash from the garden and onions in the electric skillet while my brother and I were cooking 4 ears of fresh corn on the cob and in the shuck on the grill, bathed in butter and pepper mix. Plate of sliced tomatoes brought on the trip from the garden, made a meal memory maker. Yessir, camping in the mountains and eatin' high on the hog, without the hog.   -Stan
