People have asked me why I still chase rainbows, working so hard to build a widely distributed television network that plays music that no one else seems to care about, except people like you and hundreds of thousands just like you. Why do I do it when I could just go fishing? Well, by golly, I'm still in the business of music and I got lots of music from my heroes that I have produced and saved thru the years going back to the late 50's and as long as people appreciate the music I'll keep putting it out there. I took our show off RFDTV in August, because of cable contract restrictions. The shows play on our network BlueHighways TV and are on cable systems around the country.
We are real close to a dish deal and hope to close that soon. We are completely distributed on Verizon FIOS and AT&T has promised to put us on all their systems after the first of the year. So, as I said in the beginning, people have asked me why I still chase after rainbows, creating tv networks full of music from the trailblazers of country and gospel and bluegrass genres, when others are ignoring it and think that classic music has no value. Well, that is the answer....cause other people won't do it...they will continue to chase after the young demographic, like radio has done for for so many years, like CMT and GAC are doing, and the modern record industry continues down the same path. I believe what we are doing is important, you keep telling me that it is important to y'all, to see the classic music that we all love and that we just don't hear or see anymore. Well, as long as I have the strength to continue then that is what will come out of this little corner of Sumner County, Tennessee, outside of Nashville, not on the main drag, out of the modern mix and along the blue highways of America. Just like these old boots, they look wore out....but, they still got a lot more miles to go before they are through, so I will stay on the trail and you can come along with me if you like.
God bless our effort. -Stan
