Well, in honor of Cinco de Mayo (which I always thought was a type of
very spicy Mayonaise, until Denise taught me better). Denise made us a
very flavorful Mexican Meal, after Church.
Here's what she made: Wonderful Steak Tacos (Soft Shell), her
delightful Chili Egg Souffle, that we all love, and fresh made Mexican
Rice. In my attempt to hog my way in to everything good going on, I
made the incredible Guacamole and the refried black beans...and refills
and refills of the sweet tea, which takes the place of water in Southern
climes.
After we stuffed ourselves with great food, I
suddenly got the urge for a Siesta, which is an amazing result of eating
Mexican food. Shoot, for y'all know it my hot peppers will be up in
the garden, and I will be learning to make really, really not pepper
sauce. Yawwwwwn, uh oh, this Siesta stuff is really coming on
strongggggg......zzzzzzz.
