Well, this storm front is one of those that just keeps on giving. You
think it's done with the wet, and it starts all over again. Time the
lakes and rivers clear up I may have forgotten how to fish.
This has been one of the wettest Springs we have had in a long time.
Better than the drought conditions some areas of Tennessee have suffered
through for a few years. We'll take the wet, and bring our water levels
back up to where they should be.
Trouble with all this rain,
my horse pasture is growing up to where I soon would not be able to see
the horses. Can't get in to cut til it dries up.
Floods all
across the Mississippi river waterways, and the connecting feeders. And
the rain we are having now is making it worse, because it came all
across the Midwest.
The picture below is the Upper Mississippi River, at Prairie du Chien, WI, where I will be camping and fishing, Lord Willing, in June and July.
It is Sunday go to meeting time, and we are all getting ready for that.
No matter the weather, you can always find the Son Light at your place
of worship. My prayer is for us all to have health, happiness and
prosperity, but I'll sure settle for another day of peace and
contentment. God bless us all. Stan
