Well, we are enjoying our refreshing beverage on the back deck, as has
become our pattern, loving to watch the sunset. Since the morning was
thick with clouds, we did not get to see the sunrise, although
both Denise and I were up from 3:30 this morning, so it wasn't cause we
overslept. Denise has been working all day on her landscaping, getting
the yard around the house looking good, since we have our son, Scott,
and his bride to be, Rachel, getting married and having their reception
here at the old farm house, in 4 weeks time. She has been changing out
some of her flowers for others, cleaning out the beds, etc. Me? I been
walking up and down, watching her, and saying "Ain't that fine, ain't
that fine." You can't hardly get in no trouble, going around saying
that. She is not sure if I'm talking about the flowers, or her radiant
beauty. When, actually, I am talking about both. Yessir, "Ain't that fine, ain't that fine," works everytime.
Been working on my video and music library, going through different times, different people.
To all the Mothers everywhere, you are special people, the bedrock of
the American Family. Your children love and honor you. The Lord says
that a Virtuous woman is more precious than jewels. I have a Virtuous
Woman at the Old Farm House, the mother of our two sons, the stepmother
of my son and daughters, and she is more precious to me than diamonds
and gold.
A bad marriage is hell on earth, but when you are in a
God blessed marriage it makes every morning, worth the getting up, and
the laying down at night the satisfaction of true love and happiness.
So, to all Mothers, I wish you a wonderful, relaxing and fulfilling
Mother's Day. God bless and keep you all safe, well and loved by your
family that you serve so well.
