Brand new week, new challenges. One thing, though, looks like the
weather, which has been up and down like a yo yo in Tennessee, is going
to stabilize this week. It got down to 38 last night, tomorrow
and the rest of the week, it will be in the 80's, so come on Spring,
settle down now, there is good fishing to be had for those who care to
venture out.
Old Buck The Collie gets his Summer Cut, this
week, and for a couple of days he will be embarrassed, like someone
caught out in their underwear, but then he will enjoy having the big fur
coat off, when the temps reach the 80's.
Wildlife young are
stirring. This years crop of new squirrels are about ready to come out
of the nest to explore the new world along the creek. Mother deer are
trailing one or two spotted fawns, baby birds are peeking over the sides
of the nests in the trees around the house. Baby rabbits are running
everywhere, and I have to be careful when I am cutting, so I don't get
in their nests. In the lakes and streams, Bass are on their beds,
fanning the beds and trying to keep the crawdads and lizards from dining
on their eggs. Crappie are schooling around their favorite brush pile.
And life goes about it's cycle, in the God's Nature plan.
Fueled with coffee, and prayed up...I am ready for the day. Stan
