Weekly Recipe: Jambalaya Soup

A delicious Cajun treat!

Ingredients:
1 qt. spicy V8®
1 8oz. can tomato paste
1 Tbs. salt
1 Tbs. pepper
1 c. diced celery
2 c. water
1 onion; diced
1 bell pepper; diced
1lb. chicken breast; diced
1 pkg. smoked sausage; sliced
1lb. of egg noodles


Instructions:
Put all ingredients (except egg noodles) into a large soup pot. 

Bring to a boil for 5-7 minutes then bring down to a simmer.  Stir occasionally. 

Let simmer for 1 1/2-2 hours. Add egg noodles and stir. 

Wait 10 minutes then stir and serve.  


Serves: 
6-8 servings
